Well, Well, Well

Sunday, April 29th, 2012

Typical as soon as there is a hose pipe ban it rains and rains!

This month has seen us install a borehole water treatment system for the Indian Gymkhana Club, so that they can use the borehole water for vast irrigation system and the large club house. Did you know that the artificial surface of the hockey pitch has to be watered to prevent injury to players if they fall over?

We have also completed three Legionella Risk Assessment reviews, two private water supply services and one pond remediation (in Spain!) – who says water treatment is boring!

Next month we will be installing more borehole water treatment systems, and removing deadlegs in several buildings, not to mention the standard chlorinations and flushing works.

Rusty Water

Monday, March 26th, 2012

During the last month we have completed another borehole water treatment system at a prestigious Victorian estate in the Sussex countryside. The system was designed by our inhouse chemist and is reliably removing 7.5 mg/l of iron from a turbid and bacteria rich water source. The process has been developed over the last few months and it is quite robust now. The final water quality meets drinking water standards.

We have also recently joined BSRIA so that we can keep abreast of all the latest water treatment developements in the Building Services sector and provide the best service to our clients.

Mixed Bag (or bucket)

Sunday, March 4th, 2012

The last month has been a real mixture of work from large flush and cleans to fixing a broken nut on a filter. It doesn’t matter about the size of the contract all clients want a good service. Our knowledge covers the broad spectrum of water treatment so we have a solution for most people including decommissioning and selling used water treatment equipment and sorting out unruly water softeners. The coming year will certainly be a mixed bag and we have some new tricks (and equipment) up our sleeves which will bring our game to the next level.

Flushing Brilliant!

Sunday, January 8th, 2012

In December 2011 we tried out our new flushing system on two large hotels (Stratford Upon Avon Holiday Inn and Glasgow Crown Plaza) cleaning up the chilled water without the need for harsh chemical cleaners. The system so impressed the owners they bought our hire rig so that they could use it for their heating systems as well. Our unique approach to water treatment and understanding of the both the chemical processes and the mechanical design on older systems proved valuable, as we could troubleshoot and fix leaks as we worked. As the system is for hire there are no capitol costs and we can do the work during normal hours and keep the heating and chilled working. Give Stefan a call on 07970 154529 if your heating or chilled systems need some TLC without the need to drain down the whole building.

Hello world!

Tuesday, April 26th, 2011

Following another very successful year we wish to thank all our clients both old and new. We always try to offer the best advice and service, however if you have any comments on how we can improve please let us know.

We are now offering standard borehole water treatment packages based on our research over the last few years. Iron levels have been going up and conventional approaches have been overcome especially when water levels have dropped in certain aquifers.
