Aqua Nova – Responsible Water Treatment

At IWT we understand that not all closed systems are the same whether they are brand new or long-in-the tooth. The AquaNova service does not just cover the filling and flushing of pipework, but also understanding the chemistry and biology, and how this can change over time. By considering the performance of the closed loop throughout its lifetime it is possible to provide the client with more certainty by adopting the AquaNova philosophy.

There are two distinct opportunities for the AquaNova service:

- Pre-Commissioning Works
- Remedial water treatment to balance existing systems

AquaNova – Pre-Comm Service

Reducing the volume of water used in the pre-commissioning works while maintaining the chemistry of the water and the integrity of the pipework is the basis for the AquaNova process developed by Invicta Water Treatment. The process relies on a number of stages during which particulate matter is removed from the pipework and the chemistry is built-up finally achieving a balanced water. Our service covers:

• Consultancy meeting with all parties
• Project management & trained operators
• Site installation of equipment
• Supply of all materials
• Flushing of all pipework to BSRIA standards
• Backflushing of FCU and CRAC units
• Review meetings with all parties
• Witness testing
• Post-works sampling

AquaNova – Remediation Service

As systems age and maintenance companies come and go, the closed water quality can degrade with biofilm build up and corrosion problems most common. The AquaNova service can be used onsite to improve matters without having to drop the whole system and keeping vital services online. Our service covers:

• Consultancy meeting to plan works and outages
• Project management & trained operators
• Site installation of equipment
• Supply of all materials
• Post- works sampling
